Who we are
The CRC was created in December 2024. It started out as an informal group of friends interested in research and enabling the creation of social spaces at the grassroots level in which the voices of the marginalised are given a hearing. Today, the CRC team comprises members from widely varying backgrounds and areas of interest and expertise.

Jobil T. Das
Jobil is currently a PhD scholar at the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. He completed his Bachelors' degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Athenaeum - Jnana Deepa, Institute of Philosophy and Theology, Pune, in May 2023. He earned his undergraduate degree in sociology from Kerala University and his postgraduate degree in sociology from IGNOU.
Shamini is currently an empaneled guest faculty member in the Fishing Technology Department at the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies. She completed her MFSc (Masters in Fishing Technology and Engineering) from the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS).

Asha has completed her MBA with a specialization in finance from the Kerala Institute of Co-Operative Management, Neyyardam.
Asha Mary, T.S.
Logia has completed her M.Com. in Finance from St Xavier's College Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram, and a B.Com. from the Loyola Institute of Commerce. She currently works in the UK and is an UPSC aspirant.

Sinto has completed his VHSE course in Fish and Seafood Processing Technology. He is passionate about photography, video, and media. He take care of all media creation regarding the activities of the CRC.

Nirmal completed his Bachelors' degree in Philosophy at the Pontifical Athenaeum - Jnana Deepa, Institute of Philosophy & Theology in Pune, in March 2024. Prior to this, he was an embedded systems engineer.
